Welcome!

     Hello, dear reader!  I want to personally welcome you to my brand new blog: Everyday Beautiful.  If you're anything like me, you appreciate knowing what a cite is all about.  So that's what I intend to explain in this first post: explain the purpose and layout of this blog.

    Credit belongs to my mom for sparking this idea.  She has been observing my growing passion for photography- an interest aided by a close friend and mentor.  My mom suggested, while we were on a walk, that I start a blog to share my pictures with friends and family.  At first, I brushed off the idea; it sounded like a lot of work!  But, later that night, I contemplated her suggestion further.  One thought stood out to me: why not do it?  Why not start a blog?  Who knows who could benefit from seeing a picture I took in my own moment of emotion?  So, here I start!

    The title "Everyday Beautiful" comes from the idea behind my pictures.  You see, when I first began to practice photography, I was astonished at how much it made me stop and appreciate every day life!  I began to live in the moment more than I had been.  I noticed beauty everywhere around me because I was constantly looking for subjects, angles and lighting that would make a wonderful picture.  You could say that I got a new lens, or at least a more advanced one, to look through.  

    This blog, as you may have already guessed, will be filled with pictures!  I am happy to share my work with you.  I also welcome comments (there's always improvement that can be done!).  Some of the pictures I post will come with titles, some won't.  At times, I will write additional contemplations or maybe just side notes.  I'll do my best to make it all pretty self explanatory.

    I hope that you enjoy this experience as much as I already am!
